Recipe Round Up

Okay. So we might have been a little hasty this year in jumping for joy at the sight of daffodil stems in the garden and a sunny morning; to be fair to us, it was starting to feel as if Spring might just have sprung. The recent dark clouds and grey days have put us well in our place, and it does seem that we'll have to wait a little longer for garden parties and jumper-less days.

In response, today's recipe round up is a collection of quick and tasty up-lifters to add a little warmth to this chilly February. Happy eating!

We just can't get enough of Deliciously Ella right now. If we're not drooling over her dreamy instagram page, we're wishing away our hours on her straight up lovely website. This minted pea and avocado dip is a perfect weekday snack with brown toast. Ella even suggests using it as a pasta sauce! I have one word to describe how I feel about this - yes.

With regard to Hemsley and Hemsley's online presence: as above. They make some fine looking food and they wear nice clothes. Asparagus is one of life's cheat sheets; tasty however you cook it, and always a little bit luxurious. We love this recipe for Oven-baked Asparagus and Eggs.

Nigella because chocolate. Do chocolate brownies taste good? Yes. What about chocolate sauce? Yup. Conclusion: this recipe.
